Buddy travelers, do you already know this one tourist attraction? If you take a trip to a tourist location in Bantul Regency, Yogyakarta between Beach Pandansimo and Kuwaru Beach are the youngest beaches in the region, namely the Kuwaru New Beach. This beach is precisely located in Ngentak Hamlet, Poncosari Village, Srandakan District.
Although its name is similar to Kuwaru Beach, from its location it shows that both are different beaches, you know. But what equates the two is the stretch of planting of shrimp pine trees which reach 1 km in length, as part of the Bantul regency project, since 2002.
Many shrimps of shrub trees planted along the shoreline are already characteristic of the coast in this region. In addition, this beach is different if you compare it to other beaches in general. In addition to the beach sand which has a blackish brown color, the waves on the beach are also quite wild and the wind here is also strong. But the situation is more helped precisely by the presence of the pine cone trees.
Usually tourists in this region come with their families, hold mats and open joint supplies. Under this row of pine trees, the atmosphere is not as hot as in Parangtritis. And, this beach is very suitable as a cheap family vacation spot.
Facilities in this coastal area quite accommodate the needs of visitors. For example, large parking lots, toilets and bathrooms, ATVs that can be rented for 15 minutes at a rate of IDR 30,000, also a mosque.
As the youngest beach, this beach has been a lot of visitors since 2009, from various cities, including foreign tourists. Apparently, the existence of this beach has become a tourist alternative for visitors who usually visit Parangtritis Beach, Samas Beach or Parangkusumo, and other beaches in Bantul Regency.
Unfortunately, the situation here is that maintaining cleanliness seems to be uncultivated. There are still quite a lot of food-beverage chunks found, such as the waste of the rest of the visitors enjoying young coconut which is dumped carelessly, etc.
Culinary Tourism in Pantai Baru Kuwaru
In addition to being unique because of the shade of the trees, and the sea which is quite dangerous, so that visitors are not advised to play with the ferocity of the waves, this area attracts visitors with culinary charm that serves local fishermen, such as skipjack fish, squid , shellfish and other fish. So, in addition to exploring the beauty around the beach with ATVs, you can enjoy seafood culinary along with vegetables and fresh drinks, while enjoying the atmosphere of this New Beach.
With this tourist area, local residents do get blessings, both by selling catches as food which is good, or by opening a frying service business for visitors who buy fresh fish.
With private vehicles, to reach Pantai Baru is actually quite easy because of its rugged location with other beaches such as Kuwaru Beach, Pandansimo Beach and Pandansari.
So from the city center, you drive south to Jl. Bantul. Until Bantul, drive the vehicle to Srandakan. From the Srandakan roundabout turn left to the south. Then at the T-junction you will find a signpost to Pantai Baru. Alternatively, you can use the Kuwaru New Beach location instructions on Google Maps here yes.
